Santa Stop Here - Please!

Good evening

Hope those of you in the south of the UK are safe and haven't suffered too much storm damage.  I believe the North East of England was very fortunate and escaped the storm.

My card today features the oh so cute James the Bear from LOTV.

The image is called "James - Santa Stop Here" and has been coloured with Copic pens, with flower soft added to the trim and bobble on his hat.  The background papers are by Echo Park "Flurry".

For embellishments I've used a Joy snowflake die, teeny tiny pom pom trim from the Ribbon Girl and rhinestones.  The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps "Holiday Notables 2".

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Hostess Monday

Good evening

Today is my turn to host the 'Hostess Monday' post over at the Digital Delights blog.  After considering several projects I finally decided on an Easel Card Box.  These are perfect for giving at Christmas time as they can have a special treat inside.
Materials Used:
1 x A3 sheet of white card
3 x A4 sheets of white card
2 x A4 sheets of coloured card (for matting)
1 sheet of patterned paper (Red Dot/Santa’s List by Simple Stories)
Spacer and Brad
Strong Double Sided Tape/Wet Glue
Ribbon and Rhinestones
Santa's Letters Set
Magical Winter Sentiments Set

Tools
Scoring Board
Dies – Memory Box (Frostyville Border and Precious Mittens) and Spellbinders (Standard Circle)

For the box, trim an A3 sheet of card to measure 38.1cm wide x 14.8cm deep.  Then place the card lengthways on a scoring board and score at 3cm, 17.8cm, 20.8cm and 35.6cm.  Fold along the score lines and assemble.  To make the drawer cut a piece of card to 20.2cm x 20.2cm.  Using the scoring board score down one side at 2.8cm.  Turn the card clockwise and score again at 2.8cm.  Repeat this until all four sides are done.  Fold along the score lines and assemble.

To make the easel card trim a sheet of A4 white card to 14.8cm wide x 29.6cm long.  Score in half then score one of the halves in half again (this is the base).  Trim another A4 sheet of white card to measure 14.8cm x 14.8cm (this is the front).  Fix the front card to the base (bottom quarter only).

To decorate the card I used one of the images from Santa’s Letters which was coloured with copic pens.  The sentiments are from Magical Winter Sentiments set and Santa’s Letters.

Now all you need to do is fill the drawer with something nice!

I would like to enter the following challenge:

Moving Along with the Times : Christmas Cuties
Simon Says Stamp : Christmas/Happy Holiday

Thank you for taking the time to visit and for your lovely comments.
